Skin Blossom Organic Reviving Eye Cream

Skin Blossom Reviving Eye Cream

This product review is for Skin Blossom’s Reviving Eye Cream.

Skin Blossom is a UK based skincare company who specialise in allergy friendly, vegan and organic skincare products.  In 2008 Skin Blossom’s founder Christina Beetham decided to create her own range of affordable organic skin care after finding available products were too pricey.

The range is 98.85% natural & free from harsh ingredients like SLS, SLES, ALS, Phylates, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, DMDM, PEGS, Silicones, synthetic colour & fragrance, Petrochemicals, Urea, DEA, MEA, TEA, GLYCOLS and GM ingredients. The range is also free from Fish, Shell Fish, Eggs, Dairy and Peanuts and Wheat.

Cris from Skin Blossom very kindly sent us a free sample of her Reviving Eye Cream to review.

Tested By:

As someone who tends to burn the candle at both ends and is rarely acquainted with my bed until the early hours of the morning I was keen to give the Reviving Eye Cream a try in the hope that it may make me look and feel like i’ve had more sleep than the pitiful few hours i’ve actually had!  My daughter also tested this product and has posted her own review on her new website for teens (Tyro Fashionista).   Note: I will add the link to the review once she has posted it.

First Impression

Very chic packaging, clean and fresh looking.  The Reviving Eye Cream comes in a 15ml cylinder with a pump dispenser, and at a first glance doesn’t look like it will contain much.   However, a little goes a long way.

The Verdict

The cream comes out of the pump in a thin ribbon, it has a nice creamy texture yet still feels light.   There is no immediate smell to the cream and I couldn’t smell anything when I sniffed the pump dispenser either, I then had a really good sniff once the cream had come out of the container and even then I could barely detect any odours.  This is a definite plus point for me as I hate skincare products that are scented or smell strongly.

I applied the Reviving Eye Cream around my eye area and it felt really nourishing, it was easily absorbed and didn’t irritate my eyes or the sensitive area around my eyes (which is very easily irritated).  Within a few minutes of applying this, my under eye area felt nicely hydrated,  firmer and refreshed.  It is definitely reviving and really does make your eyes feel more awake – a great pick me up for the mornings and would be great if you needed a quick boost before a night out.

What I really like about this product is that it feels like a premium product but it has a very affordable price point.  I also like that a little of the cream goes a long way.   A product that is both allergy and purse friendly, good for you and is also kind to the environment, this is one product to look out for!
